Here are some of my Visual Effects!

UE4 Fire & Smoke 

 

-Finished my particlesystem for the fuel fire.

High-Detailed Destruction 

 

-For my personal project I've been researching and testing alot with destruction, trying think of an effective way to create a workflow from Maya simulated destruction into UDK (in this case).

 

I've successfully created detailed workflow's to create destruction assets for games.

I simulated the chunks using PullDownIt plugin for Maya, then later used my script that bakes the whole simulation into a skeletalmesh. Giving me the possibility to export it as an animated game asset.

UDK "Arcane Spell" Particle System

- An unstable anomaly from space warps in to our atmosphere and kills the poor cube! 

UDK "Ice Spell" Particle System

- An icy spike spell effect created in UDK, using a dynamic iceblending shader to seamlessly blend between ground and particle  effect. This makes it look like if the ice was melting to the ground.

Maya Fluidsimulation into UDK VFX

-Also a big part of my project that I've been working on are explosions.

 

I've created an explosion for UDK by using the Maya fluidDynamic's system.

Simulated a sheet of 8x8 images, created as a spritesheet that was later merged into a shader with multiple controls for the user. Using parameter controls and instancing the material gives me the power to manipulate the color of the fire, density of the smoke and macroUV panning speeds.
